Olivia Von Halle launched her luxury nightwear brand at London Fashion Week in 2011, and, according to Forbes.com, quickly became the ‘bedtime staple’ of the likes of Victoria Beckham and Kate Moss

Olivia Von Halle studied Fashion and Textile Management at Leeds University and went on to work for The Future Laboratory, Gucci and Lamborghini as a trend forecaster- deciding what we will all be wearing before we know.  According to her website, she decided to set up her own brand of nightwear, decadent smoking robes, and funky yet classy pyjamas, all made with luxury materials and beautiful cuts after, she says on her website,

“Coming home from evenings partying with friends, she would long to ditch her sky-high heels and constricting outfits for something glamorous enough to enjoy a gin and tonic in before sliding off to bed.”

Olivia says she is inspired by the iconic lounging pyjamas worn by Coco Chanel and her fashionistas of the 1920s. The Olivia Von Halle range is now sold in over 100 stores including Harrods and Net-A-Porter.com and across 20 countries in stores like Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue.

The range has consistently been the fashion editor favourite and has regular features in top global magazines including Vanity Fair, Harpers Bazaar and Vogue.

The go-to brand for high-end nightwear was awarded the ‘Blue Butterfly Trust Mark’, which is given to brands and companies that have a positive impact on people and the planet.

Our favourite piece has to be this stunning ‘Queenie’  Misora full-length kimono which will set you back a month’s rent (£630) but boy, will you look like a decadent regal floating around your home in this sheer delight. Made from metres of silk cut continuously from front to back, it features a stunning poppy print from the hem and is fully lined in the same printed silk and finished with a matte silk crepe sash in ink which narrows the waist, creating the ultimate silhouette.
