Lingerie For Men: HommeMystere

It is a fact that some men like wearing women’s underwear and a lingerie range has just been launched with these men in mind.

HommeMystere, a lingerie range from Australia carries a wide range of knickers, bras and other lingerie garments made especially for the size and shape of a man’s body.

The lingerie brand launched at the Las Vegas International Lingerie Show featuring men in delicate lingerie – g-strings, nighties and lacy bras walking down the catwalk with confidence.
The company was started by Brent and Lara Krause and on the website they say their aim is to make “comfortable men’s panties that really do fit, bra straps that don’t fall off the shoulder, teddies that don’t ride up halfway through the night and quality soft fabrics that feel great for all day wear.”
In the FAQ section of the website, they continue to explain; “We provide our lingerie for guys. We are not concerned if you are gay, straight, vegetarian, republican, anglican, martian or any other persuasion.  We just design and manufacture attractive luxury underwear for men.”
Most of the marketing photos and videos include heterosexual men cuddled up with women while wearing lingerie from their range.
Brett says he the reason he started wearing women’s lingerie was because he “got tired of guys’ underwear … it’s always the same—cotton boxers and trunks—and all pretty ordinary.”

Men wearing lingerie is still very much a taboo subject and treated as a fetish as such. We wrote about men wearing tights and hosiery, now called Mantyhose last year and slowly we are seeing more images and advertising for this type of activity as it becomes less of a taboo andnot so shocking to the eye. Ours is not to reason why but merely to report on what is happening in the lingerie world – and this is happening. HommeMystere is an emerging business which has been doing well since it was founded six years ago, proving there is a need and niche they are fulfilling with their business — lingerie for men who like the feeling of wearing it underneath their male-oriented clothes.
